Electronic electricity meters falsify readings almost six times the actual energy consumption

Some electronic electricity meters can give false readings that are up to 582% higher than the actual energy consumption. This came out of a study conducted by the University of Twente (Twente), in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam.
